Books to Grow On helps families build a love of reading from an early age by providing books and resources to support reading at home.

Age-appropriate books are mailed to families with children ages 1–4 in the Cocalico School District. Children ages 4–5 receive a book during kindergarten registration. Each book includes helpful reading tips for parents, along with information about local early childhood programs and services.

By putting books into the hands of young readers and giving families tools to enjoy reading together, this program helps build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
