Stronger schools create stronger communities

In today’s world, it takes more than tax dollars to provide a quality education for our children. Eroding tax bases, the conStronger Schools Create Stronger Communities

Strong schools help build strong communities. Through support from local businesses, Cocalico Education Foundation (CEF) helps provide students with educational opportunities that enrich learning and support their future success.

The Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program allows eligible businesses to support approved educational programs while receiving state tax credits for qualifying contributions.

Support Cocalico Students Through EITC

CEF partners with local businesses through the EITC Program to support educational programs and initiatives throughout the Cocalico School District. These contributions help provide additional resources and opportunities for students beyond traditional school funding.

Eligible businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania may receive tax credits for contributions to approved nonprofit Educational Improvement Organizations (EIOs), including CEF, provided the organization and contribution meet program requirements.

Business Eligibility

Eligible businesses must be subject to one or more of the Pennsylvania taxes recognized by the program, including:

  • Personal Income Tax
  • Corporate Net Income Tax
  • Capital Stock/Foreign Franchise Tax
  • Bank Shares Tax
  • Title Insurance and Trust Company Shares Tax
  • Insurance Premiums Tax
  • Mutual Thrift Tax
  • Malt Beverage Tax
